You may register to vote if

  • you are a United States citizen

  • you are at least 18 years old (or will turn 18 before the next general election)

    • 17 year-olds may register and vote in primaries if the 18th birthday occurs on or before the next general election

  • you reside in the voting precinct for 30 days prior to the next election

  • you can provide two acceptable forms of identification, including one which shows your current physical address

If you need to register to vote because

  • you have never been registered before

  • you have moved since you last registered

  • you have changed your name since you last registered

you can register online

you can register in person at the County Clerk's office

you can register in person at driver's license facilities, libraries, and other local agencies

you can register with deputy registrars at a voter registration event

you can register by mail using forms in English or Spanish
